Traditional Interchange is a broken dinosaur model. Because it gives absolutely NO incentive for customers to pay by Cash.

Actually, it does just the opposite.

If a customer is given the same price, whether they pay by Cash or Credit, they will choose to pay by Credit every time because, if they pay by Credit, they can receive points, bonus miles, etc.

Why not give your customers an incentive to pay with Cash by offering them a discount?
